Music: Henry Wu & Earl Jeffers- Projections EP

Henry Wu and Earl Jeffers release a short but captivating two-track EP titled Projections EP, released on the great Motor City Drum Ensemble label.

Both tracks “Projections” and “Hi Life” are over seven minutes worth of groove-heavy house grooves that incorporate gorgeous synth-keys along with pulsating basslines that get your heart racing. The former track really include subtle vocal samples as well as amazing keys that add to the aura of the record itself. The latter track, “Hi Life” has an infectious melody that is looped throughout, with the addition of synth-heavy notes and another incredible beat that just keeps beating at such a high pace. The high and contagious energy Projections EP possesses is why this is one of my favourite EPs of the year and one which will definitely hit the dancefloors throughout London and hopefully the rest of the world.
