Infectiously groovy, hard-hitting and full of colour, both tracks are some of the funnest and most club-focused tracks I’ve heard from him, with a cutting-edge to them that are just incredible. The jungle Loose Ends flip on “Don’t You Ever Try To Change Me” is hypnotic, and the Missy Elliot edit on “Gossip Folks” is full of energy and personality, with it’s hard-hitting drums and a free-flowing verse that captures the intensity and rhythmic energy of O.PAL’s music. A great new addition to his already rich discography.
