Why you should listen: Fletch is an up-and-coming House producer based in Manchester (but originally from London). Flexin EP is a new 3-track project showcasing his talents as a producer, paying homage to the classic Chicago sound while also creating this hypnotic, meandering and eclectic compositions that are heavy and absolutely perfect for the dancefloor. The heavy basslines on “Flexin” are incredible, with a subtle synth melody and vocal samples that add character to the pummelling, fast-paced groove. The claps and synth notes on “Half Life” are fantastic and complement the intense groove throughout its six-and-a-half minute runtime. The sub-bass, synth-distortions and almost industrial energy of “Voices” is crazy and mesmerising, closing the short-but-punchy EP out perfectly. Fletch is an artist to watch, and Flexin EP is a testament to his talents and penchant for experimentation.
