Why you should listen: London-based emcee Bisk and Chicago-based producer Spectacular Diagnostics have come through with a short but sweet new project titled DIORETIX. The tracks are short but punchy, with lush, textured and heavy production throughout, with Bisk flowing effortlessly throughout. I’m not entirely caught up on what DIORETIX is – the limited information that I’ve found is that it’s the science of matter over mind, though what that exactly means I’m not sure. Hearing Bisk rhyming effortlessly and providing an insight into his state of mind and how to cope with anxieties is inspiring and as someone who has recently been introduced to his music, I’m excited to get into the rest of his discography. My favourite tracks are “D .END” featuring CLBRKS, “GROOVES” and “MORSK”. Bisk and Spectacular Diagnostics have come through with some heat on DIORETIX, showcasing their talents effortlessly over a short but sweet body of work.
