Los Angeles-based pianist, composer, and producer Diego Gaeta has released a new album titled Fearlessly Accessing The Divine Spirit Of Freedom From Here On Out, a stunning new release that captures his talents as an artist perfectly, with jazz compositions that are colourful and utterly mesmeric at times. His piano-driven compositions are complemented by incredible percussion and drum rhythms, with additional violin and saxophone arrangements throughout that capture a beauty and intensity that is mesmeric throughout its 8 tracks.

Kicking off with “Caracal”, the smooth piano composition is playful and complemented by subtle synths and percussion, but it’s the passion in Diego’s piano playing that really shines through. “Fearlessly”, featuring the gorgeous vocals from Jimetta Rose is a smooth, melodic and stunning track throughout, with angelic and hypnotic moments throughout, while “Gracefully” is a slightly faster-paced track, with violin leads and strings that are sublime, and the piano leads giving this track so much bubbling life. “Soft Spot” featuring Low Leaf on harp is utterly spellbinding, a mesmeric track that is just so hypnotic and powerful. It’s one of the definite highlights on the album for me. The dynamic and emotive “Uprising” has an infectious groove to it, with percussion and flute leads perfectly complementing the gorgeous piano leads. “Eccolo” featuring Zeroh’s emotive and powerful vocals is another incredible track, as it bursts to life with incredible keys and percussion leads throughout as well. “The World and Within” is another stellar, meandering record, beautifully capturing the emotion via incredibly soulful piano leads. “Memorial” featuring the words of Moor Mother is a fitting closer, an introspective, spiritual track that is emotive and incredibly beautiful, stunning in its emotion and utter power throughout. It’s a beautiful way to close out an impressive body of work.
