Miami-based musician Suzi Analogue has released an electrifying, crazy new album titled ZONEZ V.4. Being one of the primary electronic producers coming out of the US, I’m always incredibly intrigued by anything she releases. ZONEZ V.4 is an experience. Influenced by the LA beat scene as well as more punk-like forms of electronic music, this album makes on hell of a statement.
The thick electronic synths and menacing beat on “2DEEP” featuring Junglepussy kicks the album off in style, with incredible energy. The features throughout do a great job at adding to rich tapestry of sounds. ZenSoFly’s feature on “WAY LIVE” is amazing as she flows brilliantly over synth-heavy footwork beat, with her vocals being looped to great effect. “LOUDR” brings punk-like energy on distorted electronic sounds over a hectic beat, while the bass-heavy beat on “Muy Rapido” is incredibly high in tempo. “Theme Song” features a trap-inspired beat with Jacks bringing a confident verse that adds to the character of the track. All tracks off this project are unique and showcase Suzi Analogue’s ability and talent to create a diverse and unique soundscape for us.
It is a fantastic project you need to support! Listen to Suzi Analogue’s ZONEZ V.4. below via Bandcamp. Released via Never Normal Records.
