It’s been a while since I’ve covered New York-based producer ewonee’s music, but the man is back with a new project titled Aux.Tapes_Vol.4, a continuation of his Aux.Tapes series of phenomenal soulful beats, loops and vocal snippets that give this record a nostalgic feel.
With tracks like “Cheeloutsun” and “Peterjoint” giving out smooth, and key-heavy vibes, as well as hard-hitting boom-bap beats makes it an exciting and brilliant release. The talented producer does not fail to disappoint, as his sampling and producing game are among some of the best I’ve heard in recent years. So big ups ewonee, keep shining man!
