Talented London-based producer Ashley Warden, aka AJMW comes through with a gorgeous new EP under his side-project enjo called That’s All, For Now. He is known for his melodic, soft melodies that focus on key progressions, guitar leads and subtle synths that give his music an ethereal feel. This was definitely felt on No Thoughts I, Ashley’s full length album under his AJMW moniker, an album I mistakenly missed. Quick review of it, it’s really dope. It has incredible looped soul samples that are complemented by slick basslines that provide grooves upon grooves, and keys that are sprinkled throughout the project, really giving the project a lighter, prettier feel to it. Check it out here.
That’s All, For Now follows a similar vibe with it’s heavy melodies which are led by incredibly gorgeous piano keys that are dense in sound and bring such an emotive sound, especially on tracks such as “Forty Winks.” The harp-led “Sunrise” is also a beautiful melody which includes angelic-like voices that are subtly placed in the background and sounds otherworldly. “Twilight.Hours” is also a highlight, which samples rain in the background, giving it a calming tone that is also translated throughout.
I definitely recommend you check out Ashley Warden’s music. He is the part of the Treehouse Vibes collective who always release creative music and artwork. Listen to enjo’s That’s All, For Now below via Spotify, and make sure you support the music in any way you can!
