Connecticut producer Foisey. is back with two new beat-tapes following the EA8+ tape he released last February. The first new project is titled spirit_whops. (Masculine Edition) and features slick and soulful production. The way he loops some of the samples to create an ethereal and beautiful vibe is impressive, especially with tracks such as “Wrk.” and “Provide..” The latter half of the project features gorgeous soul samples, such as “ReapWhatIHaveSewn.” which uses a powerful gospel sample and is intertwined in between silky synths, a pumping beat and other electronic subtleties that make it a song to remember. 

Foisey. has not released a bad or underwhelming tape yet, so it’s still very exciting to see this talented musician continue to excel with his music. You can listen to spirit_whops. (Masculine Edition) through Bandcamp, and make sure you support this project in any way you can!
