Music: Odeeno – Blutobal

Our favourite Italian producer Odeeno is back with a new tape titled Blutobal on Greek cassette record label Autumn Theory Records. A smooth, bouncy tape with a moody and atmospheric sound, Odeeno tried to capture the emotions of a trip he had with his friends in Naples and Barcelona, but the emphasis on the colour blue stems from the fact that he was missing someone important in his life on this trip, leading him to feel a certain way. He discovered places he had never imagined to see, and through the power of his slick synths, abstract production, soft abstract drum patterns, he is able to capture that moment in time perfectly. Collaborations with the likes of FarragoL, Cöntigo and Alsogood also strengthen the diversity and mood of this tape as a whole, and I cannot wait to see Odeeno channel his creativity into something more ambitious and experimental in the future.

Check out Odeeno’s previous tapes as they are all worth your listen. He released his tape Kindleavs last year and Mattglre earlier this year. So if you want new abstract beat tape recommendations, please check out Odeeno’s music because it’s worth every second.
