Music: Swarvy – Blends Vol. 4

It’s come to the point where I have run out of superlatives to describe Swarvy and his artistry. From a joint collaborative album with lojii (Due Rent) to this Blends series, this guy does not sleep. The latest release features his usual, funk-driven reworks of a plethora of different tracks. I’ve wanted to hear a ‘Bodak Yellow’ rework for ages now (Big shoutout to Cardi B too), which Swarvy completely elevates. ‘artofbeing’  is a gorgeous, souland funk infused jam featuring vocals from Nikko Gray. And if I don’t hear London blasting ‘2+2’ from now on, I’ll be heavily disappointed (Big shoutout to the don Big Shaq). ‘needu2kno[def]’ is a gorgeous cosmic closer.

Again, I’m simply lost for words with this guy. Listen to, buy and support this Swarvy’s music, who is easily one of the greatest of this current generation. Blends Vol. 4 can be streamed below via Bandcamp.
